This year, Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend —the oldest LCMS congregation in our District — celebrates its 150th anniversary.
All sister congregations are invited to join the anniversary festivities on September 13–14. Saturday’s events begin at 2:30pm with a social hour and tours of the church and cemetery, followed by a BBQ at 5:00pm and a hymn sing at 6:30 pm. On Sunday, District President Mark Chepulis will preach for the Divine Service at 8:30am followed by a Festival Service at 2:00pm with preacher Rev. Craig Fenske, a son of the congregation.
