Lutheran Church Missouri Synod North Dakota District is blessed to have a staff who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our District Staff.
Rev. Mark Chepulis
District President
Rev. Mark Chepulis enjoys being with his wife, Amy, and four children, Katherine, Eli, Caleb, and Lucia. He grew up in Hardin, Montana, and went on to Montana State University receiving his BA in Music. Rev. Chepulis also owns his own Piano Service business (Chepulis Piano Service) directs the Pembina County Homeschool Cantabo Choir and currently serves a tri-parish congregation including, Our Savior in Cavalier, St. Paul in St. Thomas, and Redeemer in Langdon.

Kurt Primuth
Lutheran Church Extension Fund District Vice President
Kurt Primuth is a passionate sports enthusiast and outdoor lover with a deep connection to his family. A lifelong Packers fan, Kurt enjoys watching football, equine and rodeo events, fishing, and golfing. In addition to outdoor adventures, he dedicates time to reading and volunteering at church. With a love for staying active, professionally and personally, Kurt embraces every opportunity for growth and adventure.
Tana McKenna
Executive Administrator
Tana and Brian have spent 27 years as a married couple and raised two boys, Mike and Brady. She is the executive administrator at Higher Things and attended college in Moorhead, MN at Concordia College. Tana loves to be at the lake when she can. She has also found hobbies in baking and hunting.
Adrienne Montonye
Communication Manager
Adrienne grew up in North Dakota and attended school in Rugby, Makoti, Minot, and Bismarck where she graduated high school from Century. She holds a cosmetology license and has an AA in Elementary Education from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. Adrienne has been a stay-at-home parent for 11 years to her and her husbands’ four children. She is in her last year at UND studying Communications. It brings her joy to make communication easy and information exciting and accessible to all who have an interest in the LCMS North Dakota District.
